A move is not a parcel
Removal cartons are packed to be stacked in a van or a store, not to hit a small-parcel size. The double wall range is the stronger board, described for heavy, valuable or fragile goods, and manufactured in the UK. That is the board for books, kitchenware and anything that will sit under another carton.
A single wall carton can still carry light loads. It is the wrong default for a room of mixed belongings, because the stack is heavier than one posted parcel.
Wardrobes and kits
Wardrobe garment boxes are the hanging cartons, listed separately from the cube-shaped removal cartons. Use them for clothes that should stay on a rail. Folded clothes can go in a standard removal carton.
Removal kits and assortments are the mixed sets, for a move that needs more than one size. Archive boxes with handles are the storage carton you will lift again, rather than a one-way parcel.
Fill and close
A half-empty removal carton collapses when another is stacked on it. Fill the space, or use a smaller carton. Paper void fill and loose fill are in the protection range. Tape for a heavy carton is in the tapes category, including brown packing tape and the stronger vinyl and crossweave tapes.
Label the carton on the tape or with a label from the papers range. The carton does not record which room it belongs to.
Ordering
Open the double wall and removal cartons, then wardrobe cartons or a kit if the move needs them. Orders placed by 3pm are dispatched the same day. UK delivery is free on orders over £50 ex VAT.
